Storied Management LLC – an affiliate of Storied Development, LLC, an established development, marketing and sales organization with private club communities throughout the continental U.S., Hawaii, the Caribbean and Mexico – is seeking a Host for its luxury, private residential, mountain golf and ski community in Park City, Utah – Talisker Club.

Talisker Club is Park City’s only four-club, one-membership private home community presenting an incomparable collection of mountain, Main Street, backcountry and country clubs. POSITION DESCRIPTION: Host/Hostess

STATUS: Full-Time, Year-Round Only

WAGE: $11/hr + Service Charge ($20 Minimum Hourly Wage Guaranteed)

LOCATION: Courchevel, a Talisker Club Bistro

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Host is the first and last impression Members have of Courchevel, welcoming each guest with warmth and setting the tone for their entire dining experience. Working closely with the service team, the Host seats Members, anticipates their needs and keeps the dining room running smoothly and courteously. The Host also takes any to-go orders and accurately processes payment for restaurant charges.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything. Key responsibilities for this position are:

• Meets arriving Members as they enter the restaurant with a cordial greeting.
• Exhibits a professional appearance and maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Escorts Members to assigned tables, introduces server, issues menus and facilitates the accommodation of special requests.
• Circulates periodically through the restaurant to assist servers, respond to any Member requests and to assess the efficiency of the restaurant for management.
• Receives to-go orders, enters into the POS and verifies the accuracy of the order.
• Ensures that all charge vouchers are completely filled out with the correct Member name and number.
• Assisting with vacuuming, sweeping, general cleaning and side-work duties in order to maintain a clean and attractive restaurant.
• Checks all restrooms for cleanliness and supplies throughout shift and takes corrective action as needed..
• Checks the proper set-up of tables and seating prior to opening of the restaurant.
• Assists Servers and Bussers by accommodating Guests' dining requests and clearing and cleaning tables, resetting tables, and retrieving supplies.
• Provides assistance to other employees in order to contribute to the Restaurant's best overall performance.
• All other duties as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Positive attitude and be able to work well with other team members
• Utah Food Handlers Permit
• High School Education
• Be able to work unsupervised
• Be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel
• Be willing to follow direction and ask questions for clarification

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
• Ability to bend, lift, and carry heavy objects.
• Ability to withstand external elements relating to changing weather conditions.
