The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides on-site attendant care to adolescents residing in Newport Healthcare at assigned facilities. The CNA is expected to perform all job responsibilities in alignment with the mission and core values of Newport Healthcare and comply with all policies and procedures, OSHA, HIPAA, local, state, and federal regulations.
Assist nurses in monitoring chronic health conditions, respiratory distress, and seizures, if applicable, and report findings to nurse.
Obtain patient data and vital signs and report findings to the RN/Medical Director.
Comply with all reporting requirements, biohazard program requirements, medical protocols, etc.
Attend meetings per prior arrangement and participate as an interdisciplinary team member.

The Technician, Facilities and Maintenance addresses the essential facilities needs component of Newport Academy's programs. He or she is responsible for completing preventative maintenance and repairs for all facilities as well as reporting any health, and safety compliance requirements of the facility that need to be addressed.
