PURPOSE OF POSITION:  Teach alpine skiing to Deer Valley guests of any age or ability zone. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Must have excellent guest service skills Current PSIA/ASSI Alpine Certification Level 1, 2 or 3 Advanced skier able to ski Beginner to Expert terrain in variable conditions Able to teach groups and private lessons to individuals and families Able to lift and carry 40 pounds; stand/ski six to nine hours; perform bending, lifting and twisting movements Able to work in variable weather and snow conditions Willing to work weekends and holidays Own/use alpine ski equipment; must pass boot/binding checks JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:  Teach alpine skiing to students of any age or ability zone, using PSIA/AASI teaching methodology and following the safety codes of the mountain Punctuality: must be in uniform, equipped and at the meeting location on time; must adhere to lesson times, lunch breaks, clinics and schedules...
