Door Hardware Installer

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented and reliable Residential Door Hardware Installer to join our dedicated Hardware team.  We’d like a team player who values quality and craftsmanship and is excited to learn and develop a career with our company.

In this role, you will be responsible for accurately installing, adjusting and troubleshooting various types of door hardware in custom homes and remodels.  This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your technical skills and craftsmanship to deliver professional, high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

• Use hand tools and power tools such as jigs, drills, chisels to perform precise work.
• Install, fit, and adjust residential door hardware (entry sets, deadbolts, levers/knobs, pocket door locks, door pulls, flush pulls, door stops, hinges) to ensure smooth operation and security.
• Measure spaces accurately for proper fitting hardware.
• Read and interpret door schedules
• Follow manufacturers’ installation standards and specifications.
• Work with sense of urgency and accuracy at the same time.
• Maintain a professional, courteous attitude.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace on active job sites, respecting the customer’s property.
• Keep tools and vehicles clean, maintained, stocked and organized.
• Commitment to work safety and use required protective gear
• Use personal judgment and initiative to troubleshoot and develop effective solutions to challenges and obstacles pertaining to the door hardware installation.

Qualifications & Requirements

• One + year of experience installing door hardware or related construction trades.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand and power tools in construction settings.
• Ability to work on construction sites.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately and understand job specs.
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients or team members about project details.
• Training available.
• Dependable transportation and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background and drug screen

Pay: Starting at $24.00 - $32.00 per hour based on skills and experience with high potential for growth

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: Park City, Utah In person
