Treehouse General Manager

$75,000 - $85,000 yearly

Job Description

Join us for day one

Treehouse is a brand-new premium indoor playground and café opening in Park City this winter — a beautiful, screen-free space where kids climb, build, and imagine, and where parents actually enjoy spending time. More than a playground, Treehouse is being built to be a gathering place: a warm, welcoming home base where Park City families come to play, connect, and belong. We're looking for a General Manager to help bring it all to life.

This is a rare ground-floor opportunity: you won't be stepping into someone else's system — you'll be helping build ours. If you love kids, believe in the power of community, and get genuinely excited about building something from scratch, keep reading.

What you'll do

As General Manager, you'll be the heartbeat of Treehouse — responsible for daily operations, for making every family's visit exceptional, and for nurturing the community that grows around us. Your work will span:

  • Build community — make Treehouse the place families return to and recommend. Cultivate relationships with members and regulars, partner with local schools, organizations, and businesses, and create the kind of warm, familiar environment where everyone feels they belong.

  • Lead the team — hire, train, schedule, and inspire a staff that keeps Treehouse safe, spotless, and joyful. You'll set the tone for a workplace people are proud to join.

  • Own daily operations — opening and closing, capacity and flow, safety protocols, cleanliness standards, and the hundred details that make a space run beautifully.

  • Create programming that delights — develop and run classes, camps, parties, and special events that bring families together and keep them coming back, building on your experience working with kids.

  • Deliver exceptional guest experience — set the standard for warmth and hospitality, handle memberships and parties, and turn first-time visitors into lifelong regulars.

  • Keep it all organized — manage systems, scheduling, inventory, and reporting with diligence and follow-through, working closely with ownership as we grow.

Who you are

  • Great with kids — you have real experience working with children and creating fun, engaging, age-appropriate activities.

  • A community builder — you love bringing people together, you build genuine relationships, and you understand that a great space is really about the people in it.

  • Fun, energetic, and enthusiastic — you bring genuine warmth and positive energy, and people (little and big) light up around you.

  • Organized and diligent — you're the person who follows through, sweats the details, and keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes.

  • A natural leader and communicator — you build strong teams, communicate clearly with staff, families, and ownership, and stay calm and kind under pressure.

  • Experienced in people management — you've hired, trained, and led teams, ideally in a customer-facing environment (childcare, education, recreation, hospitality, or retail all translate well).

  • Excited to build — you want the challenge and reward of helping shape a business, and a community, from the ground up.

Why Treehouse

  • A ground-floor role with real ownership — the chance to shape a growing business, create something intentional by design, and build a space Park City genuinely needs

  • A workplace built on meaningful connection — where you're genuinely respected and appreciated, and your work makes families' days better

  • The chance to bring joyful exploration and everyday delight to customers, creating small moments of magic for the families who walk through our doors

How to apply

Send your resume and a short note about why Treehouse excites you to [email protected]. Tell us about a time you created something kids loved — or about building community somewhere you've worked. We'd love to hear it.
