Alloy Personal Training: Director of Training and Head Trainer positions

  • Alloy Personal Training
  • Aug 13, 2026

Job Description

Alloy Personal Training is opening a new studio in Park City, and we're looking for a Director of Training and a Head Trainer to help us build something special. This is an opportunity to grow with a new location and organization and help shape the culture and community of a studio from its very first clients.

Alloy Personal Training offers science-based training protocols delivered through small-group personal training (4–6 clients per session). Unlike large group fitness classes or boot camps, clients receive personalized attention from trainers while building friendships with other clients. As a result, we build our teams with driven, fun-loving, dedicated professionals who want to apply their skills in a rewarding environment and help clients build genuine relationships and a real sense of community.

For the Director of Training position, we need someone who thinks like an owner, is a natural salesperson, and builds relationships easily. Coaching ability matters — but drive, hustle, and business instinct matter more.

What You'll Do

Before we open our doors, your full focus for the first month will be on building our client base. You'll be out in the community, generating leads, running promotions, and selling memberships so we open at capacity.

Once the studio opens your role will evolve into a blend of:

Sales & Business Development

  • Driving internal and external marketing efforts, including social media presence and special events to generate new leads
  • Building referral pipelines and community partnerships
  • Running consultation sessions with prospective clients and closing the sale
  • Owning and hitting monthly membership and revenue targets.

Day-to-Day Operations

  • Overseeing operating procedures and standards, staffing, and scheduling.
  • Leading weekly staff meetings and helping recruit and train new employees.
  • Tracking bookings and attendance and communicating with clients who need to improve session frequency.
  • Managing studio inventory and supply orders.

Coaching

  • As the client base stabilizes, teaching 3–5 sessions per week to help you keep in touch with our training program and the clients you’ve brought in.

For the Head Trainer position, we need someone who loves coaching, thrives on building relationships, and has the drive to help grow the business alongside our Director of Training. Our daily training programming is built by Alloy's team of degreed exercise physiologists, so you won't be designing workouts from scratch, but bringing that programming to life is where you make your mark. You'll be responsible for making sure every client understands proper technique and movement patterns for the best results, and for modifying workouts to accommodate injuries, limitations, or individual goals, so every client gets truly personalized coaching.

What You'll Do

The Head Trainer will spend the majority of their time coaching, with the remainder supporting the Director of Training on the business side of the studio.

Personal Training (primary focus)

  • Deliver first-class small-group personal training tailored to each member's needs and injury history
  • Build genuine relationships with members that keep them motivated and coming back
  • Review weekly workout programming with the training staff

Business & Studio Support

  • Assist the Director of Training with member retention, growing membership, and team development
  • Track member bookings, show rates, and attrition
  • Follow up with clients who need to improve session frequency, and conduct accountability sessions as needed
  • Help oversee general studio operations, including opening/closing procedures, maintenance, and cleanliness
  • Support internal and external marketing efforts, including maintaining social media presence and creating content for the studio's Facebook and Instagram
  • Help recruit and train new employees
  • Assist in leading staff meetings
