Schedule/location line:
Where: Trailside Fields, Park City, UT
When: August 24 - October 29th. Monday–Thursday, approximately 3:45–5:15 PM
Job description:
City League is hiring soccer coaches for our upcoming fall season.
We’re looking for people who enjoy working with kids and want to help young athletes fall in love with sports. Parents, students, recent grads, former players, and community members are all welcome.
You do not need to be a former college soccer player. If you can connect with kids, bring good energy, and show up consistently, we can train you to become a great coach.
The season runs August through October. Coaches can work 2 or 4 days per week, depending on availability. Practices and games are held locally in Park City after school, generally between 3:45–5:15 PM, Monday through Thursday.
City League runs camp-style practices, which means the practice plan, development stations, and overall structure are already built for you. Most sessions begin with station-based drills run by City League Directors, then move into team coaching, gameplay, or game-day preparation. Coaches are not expected to design practices or figure everything out alone.
Your job is to lead your team, connect with the kids, bring positive energy, encourage effort and sportsmanship, and help young athletes have fun, compete, improve, and love playing soccer.
The season includes weekly practices and games, a regular season, playoffs, select local game opportunities, and the City League Cup Tournament in Park City.
Coaches earn $25/hour, though some choose to volunteer. City League provides coach training, practice plans, support from our directors, and City League gear.
All practices and games are local in Park City. No travel, no weekend road trips, just fun, high-energy soccer right after school.
