Visitor Services Coordinator

Job Description

As the welcoming face of Park City, this role is all about delivering warm, knowledgeable hospitality to every visitor — creating memorable first impressions, connecting them with the best Park City and Summit County have to offer, and inspiring responsible, thoughtful exploration. Provide visitors with information to enhance their experience and educate them on responsible visitation. Ensure that the Visitor Information Center (VIC) is stocked, organized, and prepared for visitors. Support the Visitor Experience Manager with Visitor Services projects as assigned.

This position is Part-Time (20–28 hours per week), primarily at the VIC and may occasionally include off-site duties such as procuring materials, hotel site tours, and familiarization tours.

Work toward the goals of the Park City Chamber & Visitors Bureau while living out the core values of the organization: serve, joy, elevation, and exploration.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide visitors with current and accurate information in a courteous and professional manner, whether in person, by phone, or via chat. Serve as a knowledgeable resource on Park City and Summit County, including lodging, restaurants, attractions, events, history, and recreation. Create a positive and lasting impression of the destination.
  • Ensure the VIC is stocked, clean, and organized during each shift. Maintain an adequate supply of member business brochures and other visitor materials. Communicate with the operations team regarding supply needs or maintenance issues.
  • Assist the Visitor Experience Manager with VIC logistics as assigned. Projects may include researching and recommending best-practices, procuring materials as needed, creating and maintaining an organization system for the storage closet and VIC desk, assisting in developing facility SOPs, and assisting with staff scheduling.
  • Attend staff meetings as scheduled and participate in job development opportunities, including familiarization tours and hotel site tours.
  • Conduct merchandise inventory counts and restock displays to ensure the VIC retail area is fully stocked and visually appealing.
  • Collect and provide visitor feedback and data that helps assess the success of the visitor information program and other Chamber & Visitors Bureau initiatives.

Salary commensurate with experience.
