Job Summary

Lead the activation of the Park City Chamber & Visitors Bureau (PCCVB) ‘Mountainkind’ brand at the Visitor Information Center (VIC) and throughout the Park City and Summit County community – bringing its values to life at every visitor touchpoint.  This role blends destination marketing, visitor experience, community collaboration, and operational oversight to ensure visitors are welcomed, informed, and inspired to explore responsibly. The Visitor Experience Manager reports to the Director of Sustainable Tourism and supervises the Visitor Center and part-time Visitor Information Specialists. They also work closely with other PCCVB staff, community partners, and external vendors and contractors.

 Work toward the goals of the Park City Chamber & Visitors Bureau while living out the core values of the organization: serve, joy, elevation, and exploration.

Essential Job Functions

  • Champion the PCCVB brand and sustainable tourism message across all visitor touchpoints. Develop and execute a strategy for in-market brand storytelling, visitor education, and destination management — at the VIC and in the community. Ensure consistent, compelling messaging that reflects Park City's identity and values.
  • Oversee the Visitor Center staff and the vision and operations of the VIC, including scheduling and staff development. Provide ongoing training to ensure staff stay current on events, destination messaging, and visitor education best practices. Work closely with the VP of Operations on facilities management, occasionally acting as a liaison to vendors, suppliers, and tenants. 
  • Develop and maintain visitor information programs, resources, and content — including brochures, maps, and apps. Build strategies to capture visitor data and maintain post-visit engagement. 
  • Develop and manage a community ambassador program that extends the reach of the Mountainkind brand and deepens visitor engagement throughout Park City.
  • Build and nurture community partnerships that extend the PCCVB's reach and reinforce destination messaging. Develop Mountainkind brand touchpoints throughout the community and serve as a visible, collaborative presence with local businesses, organizations, and stakeholders. 
  • Serve as a visitor advocate across departments, proactively identifying opportunities to improve visitor satisfaction, education, and engagement. Maintain strong communication with PCCVB staff and partners to align efforts and share insights.  
  • Support the annual budgeting process through responsible planning and spending. Prepare monthly reports for the board, stakeholders, and the public as needed. 
  • Other duties as assigned by Director of Sustainable Tourism, VP of Marketing and President/CEO 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, online software applications & database programs.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of people.
  • Three plus years relevant experience.
