ABOUT LIVE LIKE SAM Live Like Sam exists for one thing: the mental and emotional resilience of young people. It is not one program area among several, it is the whole organization, and we are the only nonprofit in Summit and Wasatch Counties built solely around it. We run eight programs, all free and fully inclusive, reaching more than 6,000 students in grades Pre-K through 12, every one built around prevention and resilience rather than crisis response. Thrive and Thrive 2.0, our signature curriculum, are developed and implemented in partnership with WeBeWell and independently evaluated, with positive measured results. We build mental and emotional fitness the same way training builds physical fitness, before a crisis.
