Summit County Lands and Natural Resources is seeking an experienced and driven Resource & Restoration Manager to lead high‑impact conservation, forest health, and watershed restoration efforts across County Conservations lands . This leadership role oversees complex, multi‑partner projects focused on forest health, wildfire fuels reduction, watershed resilience, and ecological restoration.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader and project manager who thrives in a collaborative, public‑facing role and enjoys working with diverse partners, contractors, agencies, and community members. Success in this position requires an outgoing, confident communicator with a deep understanding of Rocky Mountain ecosystems, forest ecology, and land management practices, along with the ability to manage multiple projects from planning through implementation. This role blends strategic planning, hands‑on fieldwork, staff and contractor oversight, and active community engagement in one of Utah’s premier mountain landscapes.
