The National Ability Center is hiring energetic, passionate, and adventure-driven team members to help deliver life-changing adaptive recreation experiences in beautiful Park City and Moab, Utah. Whether you’re guiding climbers up scenic canyon walls, leading whitewater rafting trips on iconic desert rivers, supporting campers in unforgettable summer programs, assisting participants in building independence and life skills through community and transition programming, teaching adaptive horseback riding, or safely transporting participants to their next adventure, every role plays a vital part in empowering individuals with disabilities to build confidence, independence, and lifelong memories. We are hiring Recreation Instructors, an Outdoor Climbing Guide, Adventure Guide, Wranglers, Camp Counselors, a Community and Transition Program Assistant, Camp Shuttle Drivers, Raft Guides, and a Rafting Shuttle Driver. Summer Seasonal Positions Available:
Recreation Instructor (Park City, Utah): May through September with approximately 15-35 hours per week; must be 18 or older.
Outdoor Climbing Guide (Park City, Utah): May through September; hours vary depending on programming needs; must be 18 or older.
Adventure Guide (Park City, Utah): April through October; requires a flexible schedule to support multii-day adventure trips; must be 21 or older.
Camp Counselor (Park City, Utah): mid-May through late August; full-time hours Mon-Fri; must be 18 or older.
Camp Shuttle Driver (Park City/Salt Lake City, Utah): May 21 - August 14; drives 2 round-trips from Park City to Salt Lake City (and back) per day, Mon-Fri; must be 21 or older.
Community and Transition Program Assistant (Park City, Utah): May 4 through September 20; full-time hours Mon-Fri; must be 18 or older.
Wrangler (Park City, Utah): May through August; full-time hours, 5 days per week; must be 18 or older.
Raft Guide (Moab, Utah): April 15 - mid-October; part-time and full-time positions available; must be 18 or older.
Rafting Shuttle Driver and Logistics Assistant (Moab, Utah): May 8 - mid-October with approximately 20 hours per week; must be 21 or older.
