The Climate Fund Manager at Park City Community Foundation is responsible for managing the Climate Fund, the Zero Food Waste initiative, collaborative partnerships, advocacy efforts, and identifying ways to create a meaningful and measurable impact that advances the goals of the Climate Fund. Working closely with the Climate Fund Committee, the Vice President of Impact, and a range of community partners, this role ensures the Climate Fund delivers meaningful and measurable impact across Summit County. The candidate should be knowledgeable about the field of climate change, have previous experience working in philanthropy, and can work collaboratively across sectors. This position will be physically based at Park City Community Foundation, located in Park City, Utah. This position is full-time and will report to the Vice President of Impact and the Climate Fund Steering Committee.

Park City Community Foundation’s Climate Fund was created to implement ambitious climate initiatives by building capacity and accelerating progress that otherwise would not have existed in Summit County. The Community Foundation catalyzes climate solutions by leveraging our network, donors, and private/public partnerships. The current focus of the Climate Fund is on our Zero Food Waste efforts, ensuring that our community is aggressively diverting organic waste from the landfill. In the future, the Climate Fund may expand or amend its vision with the goal of addressing the most pressing and attainable sustainability challenges our community may be facing.

The salary range for this full-time, exempt position is $70,000-$85,000.
