At a Glance:
Full Time with benefits after 90 days (40hr/week, once onboarded)
Yearly Salary: $52,000-$57,500
Ideal Start Date: January-February 2026
About this Position:
As a Program Coordinator, you will be vital in supporting our impactful programs for K-12 students. This is a hybrid work environment that allows you to work from home as well as engage in in-person meetings and programming. 40-60% of this role is held in person in Summit & Wasatch County. This position requires someone who is highly malleable, you will have the opportunity to wear many hats and contribute to diverse initiatives, including:
Facilitating workshops and activities: Engage and energize K-12 students through dynamic facilitation of fun, age-appropriate workshops and activities focused on well-being, life skills, and character development.
Event and tabling support: Represent Live Like Sam at community events, school functions, and outreach initiatives, raising awareness and generating excitement for our programs.
Coordinate programs and events: Organize the planning, logistics, and execution of core youth programs, community events, and fundraising initiatives, including scheduling, venue coordination, materials preparation, and volunteer support.
Community engagement: Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, educators, health workers, youth clubs, and community partners to expand our program’s reach and impact.
Newsletter: Assist the team by contributing to a monthly newsletter and communications.
Additional responsibilities: Support special projects, fundraising initiatives, and other needs as they arise. Strong competency in creating graphics for social media and outreach is a plus.
Desired Qualifications
Language Skills: Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
Residency and Community Focus: Ideally, resides in Summit or Wasatch County and is dedicated to making a positive impact on our local community.
Passion and Commitment: Passionate about youth well-being and committed to supporting their positive development.
Interpersonal Skills: Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to connect and build rapport with students.
Experience:
Experience working with youth in educational or programs settings is a plus.
Familiarity with youth development principles and practices is a plus.
Experience in education, health, and well-being is a plus.
Event planning experience is a plus.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Personal Qualities: Creative and enthusiastic, with a willingness to learn and contribute diverse perspectives.
Technology Skills: Strong knowledge of Google Suite
Graphics and marketing skills are a plus.
Availability: Ability to work evenings and weekends as-needed for LLS events (community events, Gala, etc.)
