Summit Community Gardens - EATS (SCG-EATS) seeks an Education Coordinator to lead our seed-to-soil educational programs with youth. Our programs blend hands-on gardening, cooking, nutrition, and sustainability for Pre-K to 9th graders in our community garden, in local schools, and offsite at various locations. This position reports to the Director of Education. The ideal candidate will have experience leading indoor and outdoor programs with children, developing curriculum, creating recipes, and gardening. Great communication skills are key. Assisting with building partnerships, working with volunteers, and program coordination rounds out this role. For over 30 years, the Park City Education Foundation (PCEF) has funded and supported educator-powered initiatives that inspire all Park City students to reach their academic and lifelong potential. We do this by infusing $1.5 million annually into the Park City School District to support eight initiatives: preschool, elementary visual arts, afterschool, educator and student wellness, real-world learning, Bright Futures (a program that supports first-generation college students), classroom and express grants that support educators, and innovation lab (an incubator to workshop concepts that shape education).
