Under general supervision from the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Program Manager performs the full range of installation, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of ITS and IT-related equipment on Transit and Fleet vehicles and City assets. EXAMPLES OF TYPICAL JOB DUTIES Work on Transit vehicles and dispatching software to ensure all systems are working properly and transit assets are available for use. This is accomplished mostly through responding to issues submitted to the Transit Help Desk system regarding CAD/AVL software and hardware, video surveillance software and hardware, two-way radios, people counting hardware, and public-facing transit information sources.
