Mountain Regional Water Special Service District is accepting applications for a Distribution Water Technician. Applicants must be 18 years of age and possess a valid Utah Driver’s License along with a High School Diploma. This position will require considerable year-round physical activity, with the ability to operate various equipment and perform manual tasks for sustained periods of time, along with on-call and after-hours work. Within six months of employment this position will require successful completion of a Level II Water Operator Certification. Within one year of employment a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) will need to be obtained. Good manual dexterity and small motor skills required for labeling bottles, attaching tags, etc. An eye for detail is a MUST! Both positions require the ability to stand and walk for lengthy periods of time collecting product and packing boxes. Must be able to lift a 30 lb box. Some basic computer skills are preferred to print labels and scan/log products shipped. We may even get you certified to drive a forklift.
