Medication administration. Obtain and document vital signs in the medical record. Evaluate medical complaints/concerns from residents during on-site hours and relay information to appropriate NP/MD. Complete treatment plans when indicated, provide direct care and nursing services to clients as prescribed by program regulations, and client health screening. Monitor chronic health conditions, respiratory distress, and seizures. Maintains records, including but not limited to Medication Administration Record, medical records, medical charts, infection control log etc. Participate in multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings as needed. Comply with all mandated reporting requirements, biohazard program requirements, medical protocols, infection control, etc. Ensure accurate and timely initiation of medications and arrival of medications from pharmacy.
