Located in Oakley, Utah. Pay starts at $22.50 per hour based on experience. The Lead Cook is responsible for ensuring that the preparation and presentation of meals and snacks to clients, families, and guests meet Newport Healthcare’s standard of culinary excellence while providing a friendly dining environment.
Open and close the kitchen as needed.
Communicate performance or disciplinary issues to the Chef.
Assign tasks during shift.
Prepare/present breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks daily.
Provide healthful, nutritious, and organic meals/snacks as directed.
Ensure overall kitchen cleanliness including refrigerators, freezers, ovens, floors, dishes after each meal, and food prep.
Ensure Kitchen adheres to state health and hygiene requirements and Newport Healthcare standards.
Participate in baking or cooking groups as directed.
High school diploma or GED required.
