The Mountain Trails Foundation, a 30-year, trails non-profit in Park City, Utah, is currently looking to hire an individual for a seasonal, Trail Maintenance Coordinator position, with the potential for year-round employment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and project management skills with expertise in the maintenance of system trails. He/she will also have a keen understanding of their role as an ambassador, on and off the trail, while interacting with local land managers, volunteers, and the local trails community.
The Mountain Trails Foundation was established in 1992, at a time when Park City had only a few hand-cut trails, all of which were on private land. Since its inception, the Mountain Trails Foundation has been an advocate for trails, working with local government entities, private landowners and developers. Spring forward to the current day to appreciate how the landscape has changed. Today, over 400 continuous miles of non-motorized trails now exist in Park City. Teamwork and a thriving community have created a trail system that is unrivaled.
