The Arts Council of Park City & Summit County (‘Arts Council’) is seeking a part time Gallery Associate for our Local Artist Collective, Create PC located at 660 Main Street in Park City. Create PC functions as a pop-up retail gallery program that features Summit County artists and makers. Through live art making opportunities, events, and storytelling—our Create PC program strives to foster relationships within our local creative community, creating opportunities for fellow artists, visitors, and residents to experience and collect artwork made locally.
We are looking for an energetic, outgoing, organized self-starter who believes in the value of Arts & Culture and is excited about helping strengthen the impact of our organization. The Gallery Associate position will report to the Events & Accessibility Manager and will serve as a critical part of our small team.
Weekend work needed; Fridays, Saturday, and Sundays from 12-6pm Weekdays in December also available.

Events & Accessibility Coordinator
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Represent the Arts Council in a public-facing role
Greet and welcome gallery visitors
Communicate nonprofit goals and program details to visitors and inquiring
Assist and process artwork sales via Square (POS system)
Share artist information to interested buyers
Communicate original artwork sales to participating artists
Relay inventory updates and supply needs to the Events & Accessibility
Oversee Artist Sign Up / Scheduling for events and weekday gallery shifts
Support Arts Council events held at the space as needed
General opening/closing duties including light cleaning
