Job Description

Brief: The Assistant General Manager’s function is to oversee all aspects of the restaurant operation, and to ensure that communication is occurring between the team, leadership and the Vessel Kitchen brand. Their responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the hiring, training and staffing of the restaurant, adherence to brand standards and financial expectations, and the management/leadership of their team and team’s culture. The overall goal is that this leader personifies the qualities we look for in our staff, builds/leads a team that operates the restaurant well, enjoys each other and the work, and is the advocate for their team & location.

Time Expectation:

  • 5 Days per week in store participating in lunch & dinner service
  • Additional time as needed to accomplish all tasks as assigned, and ensure the restaurant operation and culture are upheld to brand standards

  • 10% Hiring/Training/Scheduling
  • 5% Administration
