REPORTS TO Member Service Representative
SALARY $15-$20/hr

The U.S. Ski & Snowboard  Member Services division oversees the development and implementation of membership operations and customer service programs for the U.S. Ski & Snowboard members and clubs. The division works under the Chief Financial Officer.

  1. Athlete Experience
    1. Support SafeSport compliance and daily operations
    2. Support background screening compliance and daily operations
    3. Support Coaching Fundamentals compliance and daily operations
    4. Support FIS processing, activating, and creating FIS licenses
    5. Support Introduction to Avalanches compliances and daily operations
    6. Ensure all U.S. Ski & Snowboard elite team athletes are in good standing
  2. Operational Excellence
    1. Operations: Assist with Member Services department operations with an emphasis on customer service and efficiency
    2. Report Management: Assist in coordinating & development of reporting tools for employees, division offices and key volunteer use.
    3. Assist in processing of Employee, Contractor, Medical Pool, and Intern memberships
  3. Financial Performance
    1. Engage and motivate team to maximize member renewal and registration for clubs and individual members
    2. Timely, accurate and ethical expense reporting, accurate budget planning, staying with the budget allocated for specific projects, and exercising foresight regarding changes of plans, contingencies, etc.
    3. Measure progress toward financial goals monthly/quarterly

  1. Proven track record with at least 3 years of customer service experience
  2. Possesses strong administration, problem solving and organizational skills, including the ability to manage deadlines and multiple projects
  3. Ability to work in a team environment
    1. Proficiency in Google sheets and docs
  4. Experience with databases and Microsoft Office Suite and aptitude for learning new software programs
  5. Strong verbal and written communication skills for use in stakeholder communications
  6. Strong work ethic and desire to be a part of a team
  7. Strong ability to multitask
  8. Enjoys operational work in an office environment
    1. Supports and promotes the vision, mission, and core values of U.S. Ski & Snowboard in professional image, personal interactions, communications
    2. Customer Service and data entry experience with strong attention to detail
    3. Knowledge of winter sports is helpful
