Hourly Rate ranges $16-$22 per hour

Primary Purpose:

Provides technical audio-visual and web-based conferencing, training and support services for business meetings, conferences, training sessions, and corporate events.

Essential Functions:

• The ideal candidate has at least six months to 1 years of experience and possesses skills in Audio, Video and or Lighting.
• Sets up, troubleshoots, and maintains multimedia equipment such as TVs, video projectors, monitors, audio systems, video cameras, and web-based conferencing equipment.
• Ensures proper connectivity of equipment, networks and computers to the AV system and displays.
• Provides knowledge of web-based conferencing software support for end users.
• The Audio-Visual Technician I, position will provide support for events requiring Audio, Video, Lighting, or general technical assistance at Promontory Development events and day to day AV issues.
• A team-oriented attitude, ability to work with a small group of people, and self-motivated attitude are essential characteristics for this position, as well as an underlying enthusiasm for helping people. The position requires.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Experience (Include the following, but are not limited to):

• Experience with video conferencing, WebEx, Zoom, Microsoft Teams.
• Knowledge of Savant Audio Visual System.
• Basic Networking skills.
• Strong hospitality skills, including personal interacting with internal staff and guests.
• Organizational and time management skills
• Setup, operate, Audio: Mixers, mics, speakers. Video: Screens, projectors, TV's analog/digital etc.
• Assist in organizing and planning events as requested by the client and supervisor.
• Work with other departments to ensure a smooth client experience.
