Job Description

CONNECT Summit County is accepting applications for a full-time Impact Director to lead our mental health initiatives, support and manage program staff, and engage stakeholders. Stakeholders include mental health providers, nonprofit partners, community leaders, and citizens. The ideal candidate will have experience in community organizing, measurement and evaluation, and proven management and strategy acumen.

CONNECT Summit County’s mission is to create a well-informed, stigma-free community with access to mental health resources for all. 

Responsibilities 

  • Oversee all impact programs - this includes training and managing a team of up to three part-time program staff. Includes the following programs: 
  • Peer Navigation Services (English and Spanish) 
  • Updates to mental health resources (annually printed Community Resource Guide, Mental Health Resource Directory online, and Mental Health Tool Kits)
  • Training sessions and events for stakeholders.
  • Launch and manage new mental health scholarships program.
  • Data collection, synthesis, analyses and reporting on all CONNECT Summit County Impact Programming and Events for the primary purpose of guiding CONNECT Summit County’s programming decisions, events, and advocacy initiatives.
  • Communications and outreach to mental health providers that serve Summit County.
  • Organizing programming for May Mental Health Awareness Month and year-round programming.
  • Identifies trends and needs in mental health for community education and design of programmatic responses including preparation of program descriptions and narratives for grant applications.
  • Development of budgets for education programs and tracking to ensure that programs operate within financial parameters of approved budget.

Qualifications 

  • Four-year college degree
  • Two years of staff management experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • High degree of self-motivation and ability to multitask
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills 
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and delegate effectively
  • Experience working with logic models and Qualtrics preferred

This is an exempt position.
