We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care under the supervision of a physician. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a clinical environment. The Physician Assistant will play a vital role in enhancing patient outcomes through comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
Duties
1. Function as first assistant in the operating room
2. Attend office hours both with, and at certain times without MD's
3. Attend athletic and/or special events or clinics with or without MD's as periodically directed
4. Organize, collate and deliver operative records and images prior to and after surgeries
5. Support use of Electronic Health Record and facilitate timely and appropriate charting, charge and billing both in the office and at outside facilities including hospitals
6. Organize and plan ongoing surgical equipment and supplies with operating room staff and manufacturer's personnel
7. Provide ongoing patient care both inpatient and outpatient
8. Support office staff in providing patient care
9. Discharge and round on patients in hospital, in coordination with MD's
10. Communicate and coordinate patient care with office and hospital staff in full compliance with instructions and expectations of MD's
11. Supervise and instruct students, as requested

This position is needed in our Park City and Heber locations and available to cover in our Salt Lake City location as needed.
