Building Maintenance Tech Level II - Year Round

PURPOSE OF POSITION:  Effectively perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of resort facilities and furnishing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of commercial kitchen equipment, boilers, and control systems
• Troubleshoot, service, and repair pumps, condensers, motors, lighting, and electrical circuits
• Install and remove faucets, seats, drain seals, toilets, and auto flushers
• Troubleshoot drainage problems, water leaks, and lack of water and perform appropriate repairs
• Perform carpentry work on cabinetry, counters, walls, stairs, and doors
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Must have at least mid-level maintenance skills
• Understanding of basic design of gas-fired burners, boilers, and kitchen equipment
• Understanding of HVAC and electrical systems
• Experience in refrigeration and understanding of Hussmann rack systems and conventional pump down systems
• Must have valid driver’s license
• Able to work on ladders and scaffolding safely and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

**Swing shift preferred: 2-10pm**
