About the Utah Olympic Park
Built for the Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Winter Games, the Utah Olympic Park is a dynamic multi-use facility with Nordic ski jumps, sliding tracks, a 2002 Winter Games museum, and a multitude of adventure activities. As a part of the Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation, our mission is to cultivate champions in sport and in life, deliver experiences that inspire communities, and celebrate our Olympic legacy for generations to come.
About the role
The Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting passengers around the Utah Olympic Park routes, for venue tours, bobsled rides, and other activities.
Major Tasks and Responsibilities
Sight-seeing transportation of guests to the different locations at the Olympic Park.
Shuttle rides for summer/winter Bobsled passengers.
Driving a 24 passenger mini bus.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
Address passenger questions and concerns courteously and professionally, ensuring a positive experience for all riders.
Complete all required in-house training.
All other job responsibilities as assigned.
Candidate requirements
Be at least 21 years of age and have excellent customer service skills.
Have a valid Utah Drivers License - Commercial Drivers License.
Be a safe driver with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
An equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience.
Flexible work schedule – must be willing to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work outside in all temperatures and weather extremes.
Ability to lift 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Hearing – to converse with others in a normal conversation.
Balancing, bending, climbing, kneeling, walking, pushing, reaching above shoulders, and sitting.
