Venue Operations Coordinator

POSITION OVERVIEW
Culinary Crafts is looking for a driven and self motivated individual to be our Venue Operations
Coordinator. This position will assist our venue manager in the overall operations of our
exclusive Park City venue, the Kimball Terrace. The Kimball Terrace hosts high-end special
events, such as weddings, corporate parties and other events. The work will consist of a
combination of in person and digital communications with vendors, city entities and clients.
Culinary Crafts is Utah’s top catering company, with 27 Best of State awards in the last 30
years. As part of the Culinary Crafts team, the Venue Operations Coordinator will work with
many of the top vendors and key figures in Utah’s hospitality industry. The experience gained
may lead to future opportunities within the company.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate all necessary venue maintenance and accessibility • Interface directly with clients
and guests • Coordinate with various city departments to obtain the necessary permits for event
execution • Assist the sales specialists with venue tours • Proactively prevent or troubleshoot
problems on event day • Coordinate venue coordinators schedule • Actively assist with large
programs

Detail-oriented • Presentable, professional, and personable with high-end clients • Grace in
pressure situation and tact in dealing with difficult clients • Sound decision-making skills •
Adaptability to changing circumstances • Dependable • Hard-working • Able to be on feet for
long periods • Ability to multitask • Reliable transportation • Highest ethical standards • Able to
lift 50 lbs. without assistance • Self motivated • Efficient time use
